How Consumption Charges Keep Your Subscription Fair and Flexible

To keep your subscription competitively priced, services like emails, texts, phone calls, and AI tools are billed on a simple 'pay-as-you-go' basis — so you only ever pay for what you actually use.

How Consumption Charges Work

To keep our monthly and annual plans competitively low and to ensure that high-volume users are billed fairly we use a simple pay-as-you-go system for certain services.

These are called “Consumption Activity Charges.” They apply when you use features like:

Sending emails, text (SMS), or making phone calls from your eShowcase CRM
Using AI-powered tools like AI chat and voice agents, image and content generation, or the AI Studio website builder

This way, you only ever pay for what you actually use — no more, no less.

How Billing Works:

When you use any consumption-based service, a small charge is made to your eShowcase Wallet.
As your usage accumulates, and your wallet balance reduces, we automatically top up your wallet in increments (minimum of $20) using the payment method linked to your account.
You’ll never experience a service interruption due to running out of credits — it’s seamless.
As part of your chosen plan, we also include $10 to $50 in usage credits each month (depending on your plan level). These credits are automatically added to your Wallet balance every month
Any unused credits simply roll over to the next month. This means you’re always getting maximum value from your plan without the pressure to use it or lose it.

These rates are subject to change from time to time, mostly driven by costs from upstream providers (like Twilio for messaging, or OpenAI and our other upstream AI providers for AI services).
If pricing for email, text, phone or workflow services changes, we promise to give you at least 30 days' advance notice — guaranteed. AI pricing changes are explained in "Our AI Pricing Is Evolving" below.

These are our Pay-As-You-Go AI rates. If you're on an AI Growth or AI Unlimited plan, much of this usage is already included (see AI Plans below).

Many AI services are billed by tokens, the units AI models use to measure the text they read (input) and write (output). Longer conversations, larger knowledge bases and longer replies use more tokens, so two conversations can cost different amounts even on the same model.

Good to know:

Phone call charges still apply to every call, on every plan, including calls handled by Voice AI.
On AI Growth, once a monthly allowance is used up, further usage is billed at Pay-As-You-Go rates.
Ask AI and AI Studio allowances are measured in rolling 5-hour windows. If you reach the limit, access resets at the end of that window.
Agent Studio is not included in any plan and is always billed on usage.

Fair Use

"Unlimited" and "Free" AI usage is subject to fair use. If usage is excessive or abusive, or affects platform performance for other customers, we may throttle or limit access, or ask you to move to a more suitable plan.

AI is moving fast. The prices charged by OpenAI and our other upstream AI providers change regularly as new models are released and existing ones are updated, so our AI pricing will evolve with them.
